Applications
Hot and Cold Water Systems — for 45-degree directional changes in compatible PPR water supply pipelines.
Residential Plumbing — for routing PPR pipes around walls, fixtures, and other installation obstacles.
Commercial Buildings — for water supply installations in apartments, hotels, schools, and other buildings.
Water Distribution Systems — for connecting PPR pipes where a 45-degree change in pipeline direction is required.
Key Features
PP-R Construction — made from polypropylene random copolymer, offering corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, and lightweight handling.
45-Degree Configuration — provides a gradual directional change for flexible pipeline routing.
Socket Fusion Connection — the pipe and fitting socket are heated and joined to form an integrated connection after cooling.
Reliable Joint Sealing — the fused connection provides reliable joint integrity and helps reduce leakage risk when properly installed.
Smooth Internal Surface — helps reduce water flow resistance and the tendency for scale buildup.
Temperature and Pressure Resistance — suitable for compatible PPR hot and cold water applications when matched with the appropriate pipe pressure rating.
Easy Installation — lightweight construction facilitates handling and installation compared with conventional metal fittings.

What is a PPR 45 Degree Elbow used for?
It is used to change the direction of a compatible PPR pipeline by 45 degrees, particularly in hot and cold water supply systems.
How is the fitting connected to PPR pipe?
It uses socket fusion. The pipe and fitting socket are heated simultaneously and then joined, forming an integrated connection after cooling.
Why use a 45-degree elbow instead of a 90-degree elbow?
A 45-degree configuration provides a less abrupt change in direction and can offer greater flexibility when routing pipelines through complex installation areas.
Is this fitting suitable for hot water piping?
Yes. PP-R fittings are suitable for compatible hot and cold water systems when the applicable temperature and pressure requirements are met.
Can it be connected directly to PE or HDPE pipe?
No. This fitting is designed for PP-R piping systems and should not be directly heat-fused to PE or HDPE pipe.
Does socket fusion require thread seal tape?
No. Socket fusion does not require thread seal tape because the pipe and fitting are fused together. Sealant may only be required for separate threaded connections.
